Camellia

The Camellia by our front window is putting on a good show right now.

We have often wondered what variety this is, as it was there when we bought the house some 8 years ago now. While we were at Ashwood Nurseries last week, we saw a Camellia that looked closer to ours than anything we had ever seen before, being offered for sale under the cultivar name 'R L Wheeler', but it's hard to be certain that's what ours actually is.
