Spoonbill - 39

Another lovely day and we wandered around the Alvor boardwalk looking at the birds. This spoonbill showed well. I thought one of the photos I took was a common tern but it actually looks like it is a caspian tern (bird 40). I’ve also included a crested lark (bird 41) and a Sardinian warbler (bird 42) because I won’t see them in the UK. Trying to photograph the Sardinian warbler was particularly tricky due to its penchant for hiding in bushes and this was the best I could manage.
