Malsmead to the Medieval Village

Completed a 5.5 mile walk from Malsmead in the Doone Valley and the Medieval Village remains then back . It rained very hard and there was lots of squelchy mud but we didn’t see a soul and it was hugely enjoyable! At one point we had to traverse a stream in full spate but we made it with the help of walking poles !
In the morning, we had a look at the Information Centre in Porlock before our car picnic at Malsmead .
A restorative meal and drink at the Top Ship in Porlock this evening!
