Crossfit

We have been wanting to try Crossfit since we moved to Glasgow. Today we had a taster session at this 'box' (as it is known in the Crossfit world)

Crossfit is a functional high intensity workout. We started with a 4 rep warm up (a workout in itself!). Then, after practicing the techniques, it was on to the WOD (Work Out of the Day). Which was 5 rounds of...

15 deadlifts
20 box jumps
25 pull ups

A beast! Even the coach said this was a difficult one to start on!

It was tough and we pushed ourselves hard but you get such an amazing feeling of pride and satisfaction when you complete the workout.

Really enjoyed my evening but think I will feel it in my muscles tomorrow!
