Coming back to life.

For people who grow things its an exciting time.
The pot sits there all winter with nothing to see.
Then suddenly you go into the greenhouse one morning and its all starting up again. Doesn’t look much yet but it is really quite a thrill.
This is Erythronium californicum. A Dog’s Tooth Violet.
In a couple of months it will have beautiful flowers.
