Prone to . . .

. . . flooding?  When looking for a house in Dorset a couple of years ago we were wary of any house, street or hamlet that was named in connection with water courses.  And this poor little cottage flooded some weeks ago in heavy rain – probably because there's a water course under it – hence the name.
