Joe Tree Day

Well, on a day that forecast to be non-stop rain in a week of pretty much the same, I was very pleased to see sun at lunchtime and be able to escape my desk.

My eye was caught by the shape of the small, lighter tree in extras, against the blossom behind, and blue sky behind. Then by a broken branch and lichen on the path, and then by the dappled sunlight picking up the textured bark in the main.

So I inadvertently have two tree photos for Joe Tree Day this year, with many thanks to the man himself for founding Blip, and all who have continued the stellar work since then. What a great community - thanks to them and all who are part of it!
