Delicate Daffodil

It was back to Savill Gardens today for the customary coffee and a walk round the garden between rain showers.

Being St David's Day I was hoping for some hosts of golden daffodils, but they were clearly biding their time waiting for some better weather (aren't we all!). However, some of the more unusual flower forms, cyclamen-flowered daffodils, were busy popping up in some boggy grass.  I rather prefer these smaller delicate flowers to their large yellow trumpeted cousins.

Fact: Although often considered different flowers, Daffodil is simply a common name for Narcissus ... I need to go back and sort out my Lightroom Tags!!
