I am knitting another grey scarf for the Church fund raising. Paul has made a vegetable Shepherd's pie.
Vegans and Vegetarians some of the time like to change the words that once described the original recipe,that was made with animal flesh. We are still calling Shepherd's Pie what leaves out the animal element, but have cheese. Paul is not a Vegan nor a Vegetarian. He is a competent cook and washes up, so that is kind and saves me having to do that not unpleasant task.
Not much done, having a quiet indoor day. I listened to Holy Mass online and the Rosary, the Joyful Mysteries with today being Saturday.
I was blessed to have lunch, with some Organic Green tea.
Then I listened to a story about Saint John of the Cross.
Time flies. 2024 is a testing time and I keep praying wars stop. I pray for decent lives for those in dreadful peril due to poverty and bad health. Animals are suffering due to wars and poverty. Praying for animal sanctuaries to be made to cater for suffering displaced cats, dogs and sad abandoned animals.
