A Meandering Life...

Crocus, Tulips and Foxgloves

Not the normal bedfellows in a pot but there you go.

Last year this pot had mini tulips in it, they had been in it for years. I thought I had planted them all out into my front beds but the wide stripy leaves says otherwise.

The crocus were a free gift from a local nursery. They have given a good account of themselves.

The bright green leaves are self seeding foxgloves, something we have plenty of in the garden. Later in the season they may look rather silly standing several feet tall in a pot on a garden table... My offering for Silly Saturday.

Today's image is a blend of a regular shot that has also been mixed with the same image passed through the Brushstokes app (about 25%).
