From the top !

Met up with guiding colleagues for AGM of NE Blue & Green Tourist Guides in my hometown of Perth
Avérer the meeting a quick walk around the city, quick bit of lunch then a tour of the New Perth Musuem which opens on 30th March in the old City Hall, a building high has so many memories for me and many many others associated with Perth.
The ancient Stone of Scone or Destiny as it’s often a name used for the stone, will be moved to the museum from Edinburgh Castle, this will be the Stone’s new home back in Perthshire. It was situated at nearby Scone Abbey
. The stone has an amazing history ! Too much for me to tell the tale here!
We them had a tour of St John’s Kirk those who wanted climbed the 130 steps to the top of the 15th bell tower, passing the 63 bells to the top. The visiblity and the light today was just right! The views are spectacular!
My blip is looking east towards Kinnoull Kirk and part of Kinnoull Primary School ( my old school!) and the slopes of Kinnoull Hill
In extras there are some more
Bus in and out from home,
Great to meet up with colleagues of old and new
A grand day indeed!
