First visit to Howe Ridding

Finally, we have taken Bonnie to Howe Ridding for a walk. Last year she was too small for the distance, and there were too many ticks!
She had a lovely walk, lots of badger and deer tracks to investigate. The daffodils are just starting to open and the damson buds are swelling.
Most remarkably though, great lengths of the tiny minor road up there have been completely resurfaced! No wonder there is no tarmac left for other roads!
