Scunthorpe United 2 Chester FC 2

A tremendously entertaining game between two of the promotion favourites at the start of the season finished 2-2. The most astonishing feature was the attendance of 7,511 which broke the all time record for a National League North league game. Bearing in mind this is the sixth tier of English football it was 3,000 more than attended the Portuguese Premier league game I went to last week.

Chester took, an amazing 1142 supporters and it made for a great atmosphere. I have a feeling we could be meeting again in the play-offs.

My blip was taken before the game and features the Scunthorpe mascot, the Scunny Bunny, which is a terrible name.
