Volcano

When the firemen spotted the lava on the volcano, they immediately tried to extinguish the fire...
I hope they didn't water down the wine :-P

The wine is from Campania at the Vesuv ( a volcano in Italy)
The taste of this wine is described as:
"On the nose: pear, ice candy and lime blossom. Also very ripe, savoury apricot. On the palate, the wine has a fairly firm, dry structure, a pithy acidity contrasts the powerful "southern" structure, the finish shows a layer of phenolics and has medium length. Drink with grilled fish."
Those descriptions sound always a bit silly to me ;-)

Thank you Laurie54 for hosting Silly Saturday in March :-D
