The Kelpies

En route to a lovely day in Edinburgh, we stopped off in Falkirk to photograph The Kelpies. They are 100 ft tall and weigh 300 tonnes each. Scottish folklore states that they were dangerous shape-shifting water creatures that could appear inland as horses. They would then entice victims to ride on their backs before carrying them to a watery grave.
I thought they looked great with the blue sky behind them.
