Beneath Biscay

Chiringuito

First full day next to the beach and we spent it in the rented apartment waiting for the management to send someone to fix the blown fuse. By wait, I mean from 10:45 am until the electrician finally came and fixed it at 6:30 pm. Day one wasted. Just after the electrician left we found that the glass of a bulb in the bathroom had come adrift from its metal base so can't use the light or change the bulb. So finally to bed, but not before I knocked a glass onto the bathroom floor, which smashed to smithereens. I should apologise to the mosquitos for keeping them waiting for their dinner while I swept up.

Anyhow the apartment itself is fine as is the beach, seen here with it's 'chiringuito' beach bar. Now we just need the wind, for which the Tarifa area is famous, to drop a bit and will be all set.
