They have arrived again: the godwits.

The godwit is a migratory bird that starts entering the Netherlands at the end of February and beginning of March. Most of them have already left in July. Black-tailed godwits winter in West Africa, where they stay in large groups at estuaries with muddy banks. In Africa they are largely switching to vegetarian food.
