Celebrations

Lovely sunny crisp morning for my birthday, and after a relaxed start to the day, lots of texts and calls from friends and family, I drove down to St Albans to meet up with the southern family for Sunday lunch in a pub. Was surprised when the staff came out with this beautiful cake for dessert which Mt had baked this morning…delicious! We all tucked in, then went to visit Verulanium museum, Roman theatre and mosaic floor around the town. Can’t believe I’ve never been there before but it was fun and gave us a chance to get some exercise after a lot of sitting and eating recently!
Drove back to MK avoiding a huge queue on the motorway and accompanied by a beautiful sunset, then caught up with K and had another lazy evening watching the Pottery throw down programme.
A lovely birthday and a very relaxing weekend.
