Ovoid

A visit to the hospital this morning for an unpleasant procedure on my nose, and the bit that’s missing has gone off for analysis.  The three injections to numb the pain were excruciating.  It’s very sore, bloody and stitched, and I’ve been told to take it easy for twenty four hours so that the wound doesn’t bleed.

The receptionist told me there was a long wait.  “How long” I asked.  “I couldn’t say” said he.  “Try” said I.  “About an hour”.  “Would it help if I cancelled it” I asked.  He went off to fetch the nurse who promptly came out to see me and persuaded me to stay.

I hope this rock is ovoid enough for today’s challenge.
