Spring has sprung

It was a bright spring day, just like yesterday, although we didn't reach 16 degrees today.
After lunch I suddenly felt like trying out how my cycling condition had suffered during my short period of illness. We cycled up the hill to go to Valkenburg, because from there it is relatively easy to cycle home. Uphill my legs felt heavy and my breathing high. That was also the case yesterday during the walk. I expect that things will turn out well again. It felt nice to be back in the saddle.

In Valkenburg I noticed that the city was decorated with one or more statues. Nice! I will try to photograph them all in due course.
