"You have a kip, I'll stand guard"

Spotted these two wood pigeons, one of them obviously exhausted and in need of a sleep. The other one is not so much standing guard as looking out for me to throw out some chopped up crusts. Sorry, you only get that when the boys leave crusts in the mornings!
Don't what it is with children, why don't they eat the crusts? Makes me wonder why Buddy has such lovely curly hair, my Uncle Joe always told me that it was crusts that gave you curly hair.
