Seaweed

I walked along the shoreline looking for bluebottles (the stinger) and, while I didn’t see any, there was plenty of seaweed - leafy, bristly, in twists and some, seemingly, with suction caps. Also two pairs of glasses, a pair of rubber slides (widely separated), a plastic sunscreen cap and a small but colourful action figure. The council removes seaweed and rakes the sand each morning, unfortunately at the expense of coastal ecosystems.
