Faire un petit voyage

A really busy and enjoyable day, starting with The Holdovers, then off to Stockbridge, the Royal Mile, Morningside and Bruntsfield.

At one point I popped into a shop to ask for something and the man replied ‘you bet’. I asked where he was from, he said Aylesbury and I said I had thought he might be Canadian. Turns out he lived in Calgary and Vancouver for 20 years! Funny how two little words can make me a bit homesick.
