The Beatles' Camera

As the Beatles members became successful, legend has it (presumably after a rehearsal or recording session) that the lads wandered into a photographic store and emerged, each brandishing a new Asahi Pentax S series SLR, which they were frequently seen using in the years that followed. It just so happens that I have one of those too (S1A).

The photograph behind the camera is featured in my copy of "The History of Photography in 50 cameras" by Michael Pritchard, published by Quid Publishing, page 175.
