Main Street

Saintfield is just four miles from home, it's an historical little town, probably best known for the Battle of Saintfield in 1798.  This view is taken from the top end of Main Street and shows architecture and shop fronts that are fast disappearing.   In the other end of Main Street is the Presbyterian Church which dates from 1777.  Its a busy thriving town difficult to photograph without including cars.
