A pair of young swans

I'm not sure if these swans are old enough to mate but there has been some twig collecting on the wee island in Maxwell Park pond. According to Google it can take 2 to 5 weeks to complete the nest so there is a way to go yet.

It was a lovely morning but by early afternoon the sun decided to disappear no take the warmth with it.
