Teal

Took the dogs walking around Roath Park. Its lake is always a good place to get photos of birds. This teal is a pleasant change from the ubiquitous swans, mallards, coots, moorhens, canadian and greylag geese, pigeons and seagulls. Other unusual birds I managed to photo were a yellow wagtail and a grebe. There was also a large duck that I couldn’t identify, which I include in the extras alongside a mallard - I’d be grateful if anyone can identify it. The other extra is a wagtail in flight close to the water.
