Didn’t sleep at all well…probably still hyped by the Hamilton energy! Had to get up early though to join the commuters going over to Glasgow. Met VG first and had some coffee and a chat with LF too, then joined AS for a zoom chat to AB. Lots to consider for the next couple of months.
Had some time in the cafe to catch up on emails and try (unsuccessfully) to write another list and get my head back in the Borneo prep game, but also thinking about other plans for later months too…my head’s mince as R would say!
Spent the afternoon with other Chairs from HE boards….mostly rather depressing discussions about finance and policy reviews and reflection on political situation in Westminster and Holyrood, so it was good to end with drinks, a recital from this very talented pair and lovely dinner (although several left before that so we had massively over catered). Home on the train with JA and good to chat with her. Up the hill and home….tired out!
