Lucinda Williams

A fantastic gig tonight by the wondrous Lucinda Williams as she warms up for Glastonbury! Humour, self-depreciation, great storytelling in her fabulous southern drawl (Louisiana by way of Arkansas and various other places...), a hint of politics and songs, songs, songs!

I can't remember everything she played but the setlist certainly included...

Side of the Road
Jackson
Car Wheels on a Gravel Road
Blue
I Look At the World
Fruits of My Labor
Drunken Angel
Greenville
Passionate Kisses
Hard Time Killing Floor Blues (Skip James cover)
Essence
Changed The Locks
Joy
Factory (Bruce Springsteen cover)
Blessed
Get Right With God

The security people were in the mood to 'discourage' photography but I sneaked a couple of fuzzy shots when their backs were turned... This was the best of them!
