'Cherry oval'

so called because a cherry tree thrived here in the front lawn for 40 years but after felling due to canker the rotting roots created hollows so just planted it up with spring bulbs and let the grass grow wild in the summer...after another hospital clinic for milady this morning visit we lunched locally and I pottered in the garden on another glorious sunny afternoon here out west
