These Dandelions were growing by the edge of the lane.  I thought they looked very Spring like and a lovely boost of colour for a beautiful sunny day. 
I gave some of the grass the first cut of the year this afternoon, the mower did struggle rather as it was very lush and still wet from all the rain we've had recently.     I'm still undecided whether to leave an area, quite large, uncut this year to see what, if any, wild flowers it could yield.   I'll make that decision later in the season.
