Lynn

Another day of helping my son prepare for work by trialling the journeys he will be making in the car. He had a meeting in King's Lynn and while he had that I went for a wander to the library. This is Denny's: a fish and chip shop in Gaywood a few hundred yards from the school where I taught for 20 years. It survived when everything around it was knocked down to make way for a new Tesco supermarket, and older students headed here for their chips at lunchtime. I used to pop in when I lived in the area and very friendly staff and decent chips they were too.
