Blossom in Edinburgh

Currently on a mini holiday in our caravan. A few nights in Edinburgh first of all, which included visiting one of our daughters who lives here. Our youngest daughter (who's currently on her gap year and still at home) decided to join us too, and came down on the bus once we were already here. It was nice to be with them both for a meal yesterday evening. Earlier in the day we'd strolled through Princes Street Gardens and looked a bit at the new Scottish Galleries in the National Gallery.

My main is looking up from the Princes Street Gardens. I've loved seeing so much pretty blossom here. The trees are probably a bit further on than up in the Highlands.

A few of my extras show the views through windows in the new Scottish Galleries. Even though there was a lot of interesting and beautiful art to see, I think the way that these windows looked out at the gardens and the impressive city vista, was my favourite part of the Gallery!
