A few extra jobs this morning as well as the usual ones. Kitchen scales weren’t working so I changed the batteries though who knows how long they’ll last because I found some in a drawer and they’re two years out of date. While in the garden I scrubbed the top of the tree stump which I use as an occasional bird table. Hope the birds appreciate it. 

After lunch I walked up through Stock Ghyll wood past the waterfalls. The daffodils are flowering lower down but still in bud at the top.
