It's Doddy!

I drove through Ken Dodd's Knotty Ash on the way to the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital earlier today. This caricature of him is along one of the corridors. I met him once when I was about 10, he was opening some shop or other in London, I remember he was a lovely man and very funny.

I was here a few months ago and was told the waiting list was about six or seven months, now I'm here after just four months - great! My visit today was in preparation ahead of a 'procedure' next week, it's only a day case, so I should be home the same day. The staff were brilliant, very efficient and full of fun (typical Liverpudlians). So I'm now all prepared both physically and mentally :-))
