A rainy day here in Seville so a wander round the Cathedral, the largest gothic cathedral in the world. We were welcomed by the resident crocodile, climbed the 26 floors of step-less tower and passed by the tomb of Christopher Columbus. The cathedral is built on and incorporates features of the previous incumbent on the site, a mosque. It has 80 chapels, a golden Bible and, at one time, more than 500 masses were celebrated here each day. It’s an incredibly rich architectural masterpiece.
