today's another day

Wagyu

A good friend has recently retired and is now a farmer. He's been breeding sheep for a few years, but this year he's now rearing calves through the winter.

On my Sunday run I popped into his stock shed just after the gang had been fed. The silence, or low level background muching, was deafening.

Lovely cows, all getting on for 200kg now, but docile and friendly.

I like the fella with the white blaze (see extras), him and the other boys are having a small operation next week, apparently it doesn't hurt and they don't notice.

Yeah right.
