Église Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc de Rouen

So many blips and to pick just one was hard today! We took the Metrobus into Rouen this morning and spent the day wandering. Looking at the Palais de Justice de Rouen with all its little craters from bullets during the war, to the main cathedral which had the highest ceiling I have seen inside overhead the central alter, then this wacky shaped church in the blip. The church has a whole wall of stained glass which survived the war as it had been removed from a church and stored. It was mounted into the design of this new church. The huge cross you can see marks the spot where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake when she was only 19!!! Inside I took pictures of a lovely statue to her, and the windows too were amazing. All in all some interesting sites, historical and modern today.
