Cloisters

The went into the pretty town of St Lizier today. I love wandering around these wonders of medieval architecture. We visited the Palais des Eveques and enjoyed the museum including the preserved psychiatric hospital which seems to have been a model for care even in 19th century. We also had a very good meal at the Carre d'Ange restaurant. These are the romanesque cloisters of St. Lizier Cathedral which we also visited.

It's been a bit cloudier today and I also had to nip out and roll up the carpet which we have our chairs on because it's dropped a few spots of rain! I'm sure it will leave us a nice clear day tomorrow.
