My, how you've grown

This Ash tree was planted just after we moved here so is now three and a bit years old.  It seems to be thriving behind its willow protection squad, as are the Alders and the area is finally beginning to look like a woodland.  In miniature - the wind will always be a challenge!

We've spent a lovely day sitting chatting with friends; time flies when you're putting the world to rights. Berry has had frequent short walks on a short lead, her favourite activity ruined, and I whizzed out to deliver something to a friend. And now we're sitting and having a swift G&T before tea. 

It's a hard life ;-)
