International Women's Day

Today my tribute go to Palestinian women in Gaza.
The UN call the war a war against children and women.
Women in Gaza don't just fight for women's rights, but for the right to life.

Over 30220 killed, over 71300 wounded, around 7000 missing:
70 percent of them are kids and women.
Two mothers are killed every hour..

Nearly 1 million women and children have been displaced - most of them up to 4-5 times or more.

About 700.000 women and girls in Gaza have menstrual cycles, and most of them have no access to pads, toilets and clean water.

There are around 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza. The proportion of miscarriages in Gaza increased by 300 per cent in the first three months of the war. On average, approximately 180 births take place each day. Several births take place on the streets, in rain-soaked tents, without running water, caesarean sections without anaesthesia. The consequences of the war are that mothers do not have enough breast milk, infant formula is almost impossible to obtain.

Over 3000 women have become widows.

Female health workers, journalist, human right defenders and UN staff in Gaza work side by side with their male colleagues around the clock to save lives in Gaza from bombs and attacks, dehydration, hunger.

Enough is enough! The war, the blockade, the occupation must end now.
The dehumanising must stop.
Accountability, justice, freedom and peace NOW.
