CAMELLIA japonica

My friend & I went to the Descanso Garden
to see the acres & acres of CAMELLIAS.
This delicate pink variety is her favorite,
but mine is the hot pink.

We chose the most gorgeous day to go
“Forest Bathing,” (Google it!)
where the Camellias were
nestled among the Redwood trees. We kept our shoes & clothes on, but inhaled the
relaxing atmosphere.

There were also masses of Tulips & Daffodils of every color & variety. We learned we can grow DAFFODILS
here, which is a revelation.
