Bearded mandarin

Away for a week in the Lake District. Haven’t been for a few years so good to return. I’m staying in a lovely little place right on the banks of lake Windermere. As I settle with a pot of tea on the balcony the mandarin ducks came to welcome me. This one was tree climbing and a bit ruffled by the wind!
