White-throated Sparrow

These guys are here every winter, but for some reason they've been pretty quiet this year. They usually sing when they're here, making them one of only a very few birds that are singing in the winter. Anyhow - this morning I was treated to quite a chorus of them for some reason, when I was putting the birdseed out. And then I saw this one right behind the house sitting in a quince bush/shrub/whatever you call it. Pic taken through the kitchen window.
