A Day with Dogs

A Saturday off from running this week. Whilst Annie went over to Cambridge to see her step mum, I joined a workshop at Paul Wilkinson photography with three other attendees. Today's subject was dogs. We spent the morning photographing two dogs in both the studio and outdoors. Whilst there was a bit of camera technical setup to tackle, much of the learning was about lighting (both natural and studio) and working most effectively with the dog owners. In the afternoon we did a bit on post processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. I definitely haven't become a dog photography expert in a day but I feel a bit better equipped to give it a go.
