MOTHERING SUNDAY

Also 4th in Lent! We had a lovely service , the sermon reminded us that Mothering Sunday started in 16th c when it was the custom to go to your mother church or cathedral & that it isn't mother's day but Mothering Sunday.?
It was lovely to see daughter K & grandson J & his girl friend D ( such sweet kind girl) she gave me lilies & brought a Philippine cake made with a native fruit Ube , the cake is made like a Swiss roll , colour purple.
They stayed for about an hour , left to go to a Chinese restaurant. When K asked me I had zero energy & preferred to stay at home, though I feel much better but not 100% by any means?
