It was bitterly cold down on the beach this morning at low tide, early morning, beach to ourselves.

And later, darling daughter popped over from the west bearing gifts for Mother’s Day (in extra). Hand thrown pot and chess piece ‘being’. Those who know are aware that there’s a whole hand built chess set in the making (this being just one sample piece).
