What a difference a day makes ….

Woke to rather damp wet conditions for a trip to Bawsey Country Park for a middle distance orienteering event. Warnings of steep slopes in the former sand quarry. I wondered what to expect but being used to tough steep Yorkshire forests didn’t find anything that was a problem. Enjoyed my run on the Green course. I was delighted to finish third behind two youngsters who were at least 40 years younger!

A rather grey wet run home through Lincolnshire and then across the Humber Bridge. Lots of rivers and ditches to cross. Only the odd field of Daffodils to brighten the journey.
