A packed workshop day on the topic of human-wildlife conflict, always one of the critical issues around community-centred conservation in Africa. A day of shuffling around the meeting room to the point that it’s very hard to take a snap of the surroundings, unless you point upward as the light is fading and you’re scurrying to your accommodation.

The lunch and snacks were so plentiful that by dinner time, some of us agreed all we needed was a liquid dinner of beer.
