Glimpse of blue

Otherwise overcast with snow/rain. We had a leisurely breakfast and then decided to drive higher to try and link up with a walk to a viewpoint. It was a great walk... mostly on fresh snowy tracks (we opted for trail shoes and ski poles rather than snow shoes as muddy at first). Lovely views and complete silence :))
A well deserved croque-monsieur for a late lunch and a later a little swim (in the very little hotel pool).
Extra: a bright and rather un-colour coordinated R. We didn t see any wildlife as I m sure they saw him first!!
